Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the CD or DVD finalizing process.Ĭlick the “X” in the upper right-hand corner of the open window to close it, if using a removable medium. Click the “Burn these files” link, if using a CD or DVD, to start the finalizing process. Right-click anywhere in the right-side pane and click “Paste” to paste the personal Outlook folder onto the CD, DVD or removable medium’s drive. Navigate to the CD, DVD or removable medium’s drive letter and double-click it. Right-click on the folder’s name and click “Copy” to copy the “.pst” folder to your computer’s clipboard. Scroll and look for folder name containing the “.pst” extension you wrote down in step 4 of the “Locating Within Outlook” section. Click “List” above the wording “Layout” to change the windows’ view and expose each folder/file’s extension.
